Archer Center Workshop/Consultation Session Request Form

When completing this form, please keep in mind the difference between a "training session/workshop" and a "consultation," as described below.

A workshop is a session dedicated to learning or improving on a particular leadership skill.  Participants will be taught the skill and trained on how to use it effectively through interactive learning aooportunities.

A consultation session is designed to allow participants a chance to meet with an Archer Center instructor to discuss the current state/problems within their organization and learn possible strategies for improvement.  Like workshops, consultations are interactive by nature.

Is this session for a specific program or event?
If you are requesting this session for a specific program or event within your organization, please describe it here. (For example: "Archer Center annual leadership conference.")
Would you like to use a L.E.A.P. facilitator?
L.E.A.P. Facilitators are current Rensselaer students who have been formally trained by the Archer Center professionals in facilitation, team development, and teaching & learning theories. As students themselves, L.E.A.P. Facilitators provide leadership workshops with a clear understanding of student issues and concerns. Additionally, the L.E.A.P. program provides a higher rate of availability for your preferred workshop date and can offer more one-on-one coaching and support. Workshops that are focused on team building, ice breakers and building stronger relationships within an organization are encouraged to use L.E.A.P. facilitators. Similar to Archer Center facilitators, the use of L.E.A.P. facilitators is subject to availability.
